# How to Use the Lynkz Dashboard to Manage Your Page

> The Lynkz dashboard is your control center for managing links, themes, analytics, and page settings. Learn what each section does.

The dashboard at `lynkz.app/username` is your central control panel for everything related to your Lynkz page. Once you log in with your PIN, you have full access to manage your links, customize your appearance, review analytics, update settings, and export your data — all from one place.

## Accessing Your Dashboard

To reach your dashboard, navigate to `lynkz.app/username` (replacing `username` with your chosen slug). You'll be prompted to enter your PIN. After a successful login, you land directly in the dashboard.

If you enter the wrong PIN three times, your IP will be locked out for 24 hours. If you've set a recovery email in Settings, you can use the **Forgot PIN?** link on the login screen to receive a magic link and regain access.

## Dashboard Sections

The dashboard is organized into five sections:

| Section       | What it does                                                                    |
| ------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Links** | Add, reorder, schedule, and delete the links shown on your public page. |
| **Themes** | Pick a color theme, button style, background animation, and custom favicon. |
| **Analytics** | View page views, link clicks, traffic sources, devices, and browsers over time. |
| **Settings** | Update your page title, bio, recovery email, and PIN. |
| **Export** | Download your page data as JSON, CSV, or a self-contained HTML file. |

## Creating Your Page

The first time you visit `lynkz.app/username`, Lynkz checks whether that username is available. If it is, you'll be guided through creating a new page — choose a username and set a PIN to protect your dashboard.

<Warning>
  **Usernames are permanent.** Your username becomes the permanent URL slug for your public page (e.g. `lynkz.app/yourname`). There is currently no way to rename or transfer a username — choose carefully before creating your page. If you need to start over, you'll have to create a new page under a different username and re-add your links.
